This classic Easy Peanut Butter Fudge is the recipe that our Great Grandmother always used. It is so creamy and peanut buttery and delicious. And easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter (Sweet Cream, Salted)
  • 1 heaping cup Peanut Butter (Creamy)
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Place the butter and the peanut butter in a medium saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Stir as the peanut butter and the butter combine and melt together.
  3. Bring the peanut mixture to a boil and then allow it to boil for 1 minute. Take the pan off the heat.
  4. Add the Vanilla Extract.
  5. Mix until combined.
  6. Add the Powdered Sugar.
  7. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  8. Butter an 8×8″ baking pan and pour the peanut butter fudge mixture into the pan.
  9. Press the fudge down into the pan.
  10. Working quickly, use the back of a spoon or an offset spatula to spread the mixture out to the edge of the pan.
  11. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until fully set (2-3 hours or overnight.)
  12. Remove from the refrigerator and cut into individual pieces.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container but we think Fudge tastes best served at room temperature. It should only take about an hour for the fudge to come back up to room temperature.
