Our Pink Ombre Princess Cupcakes will wow your Little Princess at her birthday party! These super yummy, easy-to-make, and Perfectly Pink Cupcakes are just what the royal party planner ordered.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Make a batch of vanilla cupcakes.
  2. Make 1-2 batches of our Best Buttercream Frosting recipe (depending on how many cupcakes you are frosting.)
  3. Once you have the frosting made, split it into thirds.  Because the three layers of the frosting swirl are not all the same size we portioned our single batch of frosting as follows: Dark Pink:  1 cup Light Pink: 3/4 cups White: 1/2 cup
  4. For each Princess Cupcake, you will make three swirls of the frosting.  Dark Pink on the bottom, then light pink, and finally white. With the decorating bag and the 1M tip, make one and a half circles of dark pink frosting around the edge of the cupcake.
  5. Next, apply another 1 1/2 circles of light pink frosting but this circle should be a little smaller than the white frosting layer as shown in the picture above.
  6. Finally, with the white frosting, add a third circle but this time finishing with an upward flourish so that the swirl ends in a peak at the top.
