Our step-by-step instructions for making a beautiful Beaded Easter Egg Candle Holder using materials found at any local craft store.

Materials

  • Plastic Easter Eggs
  • Seed Beads
  • Mod Podge
  • Wooden Discs
  • Wooden Dowels
  • Wood Glue
  • Paint
  • Candles

Tools

  • Drill
  • Craft paintbrush

Instructions

  1. Make decorative Easter Eggs out of Plastic Easter Eggs.  We used our Beaded Easter Eggs but Glitter Easter Eggs or our Embellished Easter Eggs would also work.
  2. Use a drill to make holes in the tops and bottoms of the decorated plastic eggs that are the same diameter as the wooden dowels.
  3. Drill a hold in both discs that is the same diameter as the dowel. Use wood glue to attach the dowel to the disc that is going to act as the bottom of the Easter Egg Candle Holder.
  4. Paint the wood elements.
  5.  Once the wood elements are dry, assemble the Candle Holder. Carefully place the Beaded Easter Eggs on the dowel that is glued to the candle holder base. Trim the dowel at the top and add the second wooden disc to the top.
  6. Glue the top piece to the dowel with wood glue.
  7. Let dry overnight.
  8. Add candles!
