We show you how we created these fabulous DIY Beaded Easter Eggs using only Plastic Easter Eggs, Seed Beads, and Mod Podge.

Materials

  • Glass Seed Beads (various colors)
  • Plastic Easter Eggs
  • Mod Podge

Tools

  • Crafting Paint Brush
  • Bowls for the seed beads

Instructions

  1. Choose a plastic Easter Eggs that matches the color of the seed beads you are working with.
  2. Use a craft brush to paint the top half of the egg with Mod Podge.
  3. Holding the egg over the bowl of seed beads, sprinkle the beads on the Mod Podged areas of the egg until the egg is covered with seed beads.
  4. Let the top part dry for about 15 minutes and then cover the bottom half of the egg with Mod Podge and seed beads.
  5. Once the Beaded Easter Eggs are completely covered, let them dry overnight.
  6. The next day, use a crafting brush to dab on a top coat of Mod Podge over all of the seed beads on the egg so they won't fall off. Allow the beaded egg to fully dry.
