Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French Bread
  • ½ cup Butter (Softened, Salted Sweet Cream)
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley Flakes

Instructions

  1. Soften the butter.  (The softer the butter the easier it is to mix and spread.) You can find directions here.
  2. Mince 2 to 3 cloves of Garlic and add to the butter.
  3. Add the Parsley Flakes.
  4. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Slice the French Bread, either lengthwise or in slices.
  6. Generously slather the garlic butter on the bread.
  7. Set the oven to broil.
  8. Place the bread directly under the broiler.
  9. Broil the French Bread for approximately 5-7 minutes.  The time will vary depending on your oven.  Keep an eye on the bread and remove when the top is browned.  The top will be crunchy and the bottom will be soft.

Notes

NOTE:  If you decide to cut the bread into individual pieces before you cook it, wrap the loaf tightly in foil and bake in a 350 oven for 20-25 mins or until the butter is melted and the crust is crispy.
