Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, softened to Room Temperature
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1-2 batches of our The Best Buttercream Frosting
  • Wilton Christmas Sprinkles
  • Wilton Color Right Food Coloring System

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla and mix.
  3. Add dry ingredients, mix well.
  4. Separate the dough into three equal portions.
  5. Leave one portion of the dough white and color the other two Red and Green.
  6. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Take the white dough, break it up into small pieces and drop it randomly onto the cookie sheet.
  7. Now do the same thing with the Red and Green cookie dough.
  8. Place another piece of parchment paper over the cookie dough and press the dough down into the cookie sheet. Get it as even as possible. You want the dough to be about 3/4″ high.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 min or until a toothpick comes out clean. Do not overbake!
  10. Cool.
  11. Frost with our The Best Buttercream Frosting.
  12. Add Christmas Sprinkles
