Peanut Butter Cookies - Crunchy on the outside, chewy and peanut-buttery on the inside.  These cookies are Mmmmm .... mmmmm... good.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (Sweet Cream, Salted, Softened to Room Temperature)
  • 1 cup Jiffy Creamy Peanut Butter (heaping)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and peanut butter in a mixer until fully combined.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of flour and mix until the flour is incorporated.
  3. Add in granulated sugar and brown sugar and mix for 3 minutes.
  4. Add in eggs and vanilla and mix 3 more minutes until the dough is light and fluffy.
  5. Add in baking soda and baking powder.
  6. Mix in the remaining 2 cups of flour, 1 cup at a time.
  7. Bake in a 375-degree oven for 7-9 minutes.
  8. Let cool on the hot cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack or a piece of aluminum foil.
