How to Make the Rice Krispie Treat Mixture
The base for our Witch Fingers Rice Krispie Treats is our Best Ever Rice Krispie Treat Recipe which we have adjusted and perfected over the years until it is now absolutely the best Rice Krispie Treat recipe we have ever tasted. You can all the directions you’ll need to make these delicious treats right here.
How to Color the Rice Krispie Treat Mixture
Step 2: To tint the Rice Krispie Treat mixture, add the food coloring to the melted marshmallows and butter BEFORE you add the Rice Krispie Cereal. To get this pretty Green Color we used 6 drops of Yellow Wilton Color Right Food Coloring and 3 drops of Blue.
How to Make the Witch Fingers
Step 3: We measured 7 oz. of Rice Krispie Treat mixture for each finger. You can skip this step but it allowed us to create 10 Witch Fingers that were all pretty much the same size.
Step 4: Then we simply molded the green Rice Krispie Treat mixture into a finger shape – a cylinder that was a little bigger on the bottom than on the top.
How to Decorate the Witch Fingers
Step 5: The creepy Witch Fingernail is made with a sliced Almonds and some Red Icing.
Steps 6 & 7: Using a blob of red icing, we attached an almond slice to the tip of the Witch Finger Rice Krispie Treat.
Step 8: Allow the icing to set up and you have 10 beautiful (?) Witch Finger Rice Krispie Treats. Well, they might not be beautiful but they are delicious. We love how these Witch Finger Rice Krispie Treats turned out … what a cute and creepy treat for a Halloween Party. Fun! Fun! Fun!

These yummy and creepy Witch Fingers Rice Krispie Treats are made out of crunchy, marshmallow-y Rice Krispie Cereal. Cute! Fun! Easy!
Ingredients
- 3 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
- 3 tablespoons Butter (Sweet Cream, Salted)
- 3 cups Mini Marshmallows
- 10 Sliced Almonds
- Wilton Red Icing
- Wilton Color Right Food Coloring System – Yellow
- Wilton Color Right Food Coloring System – Blue
Instructions
- Make a 3 cup batch of our Best Ever Rice Krispie Treat Recipe.
- Add green food coloring to the melted marshmallow mixture BEFORE adding the Rice Krispie Cereal.
- Measured 7 oz. of Rice Krispie Treat mixture for each finger.
- Mold the green Rice Krispie Treat mixture into a finger shape - a cylinder that was a little bigger on the bottom than on the top.
- Attach the Almond slice finger nail to the top of the Witch finger with a blob of red icing.
