How to Make the Cream Pie Filling
Step 2: In a large bowl add the cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Step 3: Beat with a mixer until the sugar is well-mixed and the cream cheese is smooth.
Step 4: Pour whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture and carefully fold it together with a spatula or a spoon.
Step 5: Do not over-mix. You don’t want the cream filling to deflate.
Step 6: Give the Oreo Cookies a rough chop.
Step 7 – 8: Add the chopped Oreos to the cream pie mixture and continue to gently fold together. Again, do not overmix.
How to Assemble the Pie
Steps 9-10: Pour filling into the prepared Oreo crust and smooth it out with a knife or a spreader.
Serving/Storage Instructions
Let the pie set up for at least four hours (but preferably overnight) in the refrigerator before serving. Don’t forget to top with crushed Oreos and/or whipped cream right before you serve it. The Oreo Pie should last in the refrigerator for up to a week.
