Garlic is yummy. Roasted Garlic is even yummier. The caramelization that happens during the roasting process enhances the flavor and turns those cloves of garlic into an even sweeter and milder version of the original. So easy to make and you can use Roasted Garlic anywhere you would use regular garlic but it is especially great in Mashed Potatoes, Pasta, Pizza, and Party Dips. We have all the instructions you’ll need to roast garlic in your oven perfectly every time!
How to Prepare the Garlic
Step 1: Remove the paper wrappers covering the cloves of garlic but do not break the cloves off the head.
Step 2: Carefully slice off the top of the head of cloves to expose the meat of the garlic cloves.
Instructions for Roasting Garlic
Step 3: Cut off a piece of aluminum foil that will be big enough to cover the head of garlic. Drizzle the head of garlic with olive oil.
Step 4: Wrap the head of garlic in the aluminum foil.
Step 5: Place the wrapped garlic on a cookie sheet.
Step 6: Roast the garlic in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
Step 7: Remove the heads of garlic from the aluminum foil. When the garlic has cooled, you will be able to easily remove the roasted cloves of garlic from the remaining paper wrappers. They are now ready for your Roasted Mashed Potatoes, your party dip or any other savory recipe that calls for garlic!

- 3 large heads of Garlic
- Olive Oil
- Aluminum Foil

- Remove the paper wrappers covering the cloves of garlic but do not break the cloves off the head.
- Carefully slice off the top of the head of cloves to expose the meat of the garlic cloves.
- Cut off a piece of aluminum foil that will be big enough to cover the head of garlic.
