The Best Homemade Cinnamon Whipped Cream
Take your desserts to the next level with this delicious Homemade Cinnamon Whipped Cream. What an easy way to add that “wow” factor to your Fall and Thanksgiving desserts!
It was only in the last few years that we realized how easy it is to make homemade Whipped Cream. It tastes so fresh and creamy and delicious. And you can make it in any color and add flavors to it! This Homemade Cinnamon Whipped Cream is a new favorite. What a perfect addition to Pumpkin Pie, Apple Cobbler, Baked Apples, or any other Fall and Thanksgiving desserts. Two Sisters’ Thumbs way up on this one!
How to Make
Step 1: Pour 1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream into a “CHILLED” metal mixing bowl. We placed both our mixing bowl and the whisk attachment in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes before we made the whipped cream. Now add Powdered Sugar and Cinnamon to taste. You might like your Whipped Cream to be more or less sweet. Or more or less Cinnamon-y. After much trial and error – we think 3 tablespoons of Powdered Sugar and 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon is the “just right” amount.
Step 2: Using the whisk attachment, beat on medium speed until stiff peaks form. Do not over-beat the whipped cream, it will turn into butter if you whisk it too long. That’s all there is to making flavored Whipped Cream. Super delicious, especially on a Fall dessert.
How to Serve
Whipped Cream will stay fresh for 3-4 hours in the refrigerator before it starts to separate. But for a special touch, load the Cinnamon Whipped Cream into a decorating bag and swirl it onto your favorite Holiday pie. Super easy and super pretty. Your guests will definitely be impressed!
