Decorating Christmas Sugar Cookies is a Two Sisters family tradition that we have been enjoying since we were kids.  After all the cookies were finished, if there was any frosting left over, Mom would let us frost Graham Crackers.  Hmmm, mmmm good!  Graham Cracker and Buttercream frosting became a lifelong guilty pleasure.  This year, inspired by our American Flag Frosted Graham Crackers, we decided to may Christmas Frosted Graham Crackers an official entry on our Holiday Baking list.

How to Make the Buttercream Frosting

Step 1: The key to these fun Christmas Frosted Graham Crackers is our Best Buttercream Frosting recipe. You will find the recipe and directions here.

Step 2: We split the batch of frosting into thirds.  The first third we left white.  We tinted the rest of the Best Buttercream Frosting red and green.  You can find the exact red and green food color formulas in our How to Make Christmas Frosting post.

Decorating the Graham Crackers

Step 3: To make the Christmas Frosted Graham Crackers, start with a graham cracker sheet. Lightly cover it with white buttercream frosting.
Step 4: Use the frosting in bags with decorator tips to add a fun Christmas design to the graham crackers – like this Christmas Wreath which we created with a small star tip.
Steps 5-6: We embellished the wreath with red frosting holly berries and a red bow.
