The Brownie Layer
Step 1: In a 9×13″ pan lined with Parchment Paper, bake a batch of Brownies. We used a boxed Brownie mix. (Two Sisters Tip: use a regular-sized box of brownies, not the family size.) Make the brownie batter according to the directions on the box and bake as you normally would.
The Marshmallow Creme Layer
Steps 2-3: Once the brownies have completely cooled, spread on a layer of Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme. We used the whole 7.0 oz jar of the Marshmallow Creme.
The Rice Krispie Treat Layer
Steps 4-5: Now make a batch of our Best Ever Rice Krispie Treat Recipe which we have adjusted and perfected over the years until it is now absolutely the best Rice Krispie Treat recipe we have ever tasted. You can find all the directions you’ll need to make these delicious treats right here. You will need to make a 5 cup batch which is 5 tablespoons of butter, 5 cups of mini marshmallows and 5 cups of Rice Krispie Cereal. Allow the Rice Krispie Treat mixture to cool slightly (approximately 5 minutes) and then pour the mixture into the pan. Press down the mixture over the Marshmallow Creme. Allow the Rice Krispie Treat mixture to cool.
The White Chocolate Layer
Steps 6-7: Melt the Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers in the microwave and then spread them onto the top of the Rice Krispie Treat mixture.
Steps 8-9: Place 10-15 Red and Green Candy melts in separate plastic baggies. Melt the wafers in the microwave and then snip off the tip of the plastic bag. While the white chocolate is still warm and melty, add some decorative red and green candy melts to the top of the Christmas Brownie Rice Krispie Treats. Finally, sprinkle on some Christmas Sprinkles. When the chocolate has set up, use the parchment paper to pull the Christmas Brownie Rice Krispie Treats out of the pan.
Serving and Storage Instructions
Step 10: After the White Chocolate layer has completely cooled and hardened use the parchment paper to lift the brownies out of the pan. Cut them into individual bars. Store in an air-tight container. Serve room temperature.
