White & Silver Glitter Christmas Tree Ornaments
The inspiration for these gorgeous DIY White & Silver Glitter Christmas Tree Ornaments was a bottle of glitter I saw at Michaels. It was a mixture of course white and silver glitter and it caught my eye from two aisles away. For the longest time, these ornaments were on our Two Sisters Crafting To Do List as “something pretty for Christmas with new white glitter.” Happily. they have come to life from that page and will soon be hanging in all their sparkling glory on my Santa Christmas Tree!
How to Make White & Silver Glitter Christmas Tree Ornaments
You will need:
- Marquee Foil White Glitter (I found it at our local Michaels.)
- Clear Christmas Tree Ornaments (plastic or glass)
- Mod Podge
- Crafting Brush
First, using a crafting brush cover a glass or plastic Christmas Tree ornament with Mod Podge.
Next, liberally sprinkle glitter over the ornament until the Mod Podge is completely covered. Gently shake off any loose glitter.
Allow the ornament to dry overnight. I gave the White & Silver Glitter Christmas Tree Ornament a light spray of Mod Podge Clear Sealer spray to keep the glitter from flaking off. That’s all there is to this project.
These White & Silver Glitter Christmas Tree Ornament are gorgeous. The glitter sparkles in the lights of the Christmas Tree like no other glitter I have ever used on an ornament. So very festive and beautiful!
